Analysis of common failures of water distillers
The water distiller uses electricity to heat tap water to produce pure water. Steam is generated by heating distilled water and condensed into distilled water, which can be used in pharmacy, preparations, laboratories, laboratories and other departments. This article mainly introduces some common faults of water distillers.
1. The fuse is blown
This kind of failure occurs frequently, and there must be a short circuit. After the power is cut off, you can use the multimeter resistance file to measure whether the heating wire of each heating tube is grounded. If grounded, you can remove the two ends of it. This can be used as an emergency measure. Reduce or replace it. For example, there are 6 sets of 3 sets of 20 liters/hour electric water distillers, and two sets are used in parallel. Sometimes the heating wire is not grounded when the power is cut off, and the fuse is burned when the power is turned on for a period of time. At this time, you can check whether the scale is thick, if it is thick, it can be removed; if it is not thick, it may be caused by the thermal expansion of the heating wire of a certain electric heating tube after it is energized.
2. There is noise and sparks when the power switch is turned on
There is noise and sparks when the power switch is closed, indicating that the electrical circuit is short-circuited or not contacted, resulting in too much current. In addition to the grounding of the heating wire in the heating tube, the cause of the excessive current may be that the water leakage between the heating tube and the evaporator causes a short circuit at the power connector, or the fire at the power connector is caused by moisture, which leads to the resistance of the wiring insulation board. Become smaller.
3. Reduce the amount of distilled water
As the use time increases, the scale of the electric heating tube gradually increases, the heat of the electric heating tube is not easy to transfer, and the amount of distilled water is slowly reduced. At this time, physical or chemical methods can be used to remove the scale. If the water output is significantly reduced, the heating wire must be blown, which will cause the power to decrease and the water output will decrease. You can use a multimeter to find out the blown heating tube and replace it. After replacement, the water should be drained to observe whether there is water leakage or water seepage. Only when there is no water seepage can it be powered on.
